Working with this tool
International units measure activity. Keep vial IU and target IU in the same calculation; do not confuse them with the markings on a U-100 syringe.
The reference uses 10 IU in 1 mL: 2 IU occupies 0.2 mL, or 20 U-100 units. With 2 mL instead, the same target occupies 0.4 mL, or 40 units. The somatropin conversion shown by the source is 3 IU = 1 mg. It is not a universal conversion for other substances.
