Reconstitution: record the setup
Research reference only. Source-reported examples and schedules are not dosing recommendations from MGMT Research. They do not establish safety or suitability. Prescribed medication decisions belong with a licensed clinician and the current product label.
Before you calculate
Identify the vial and follow its specified diluent instructions. Prepare a clean workspace and sterile equipment. Add liquid gently against the glass, then allow dissolution with gentle swirling. Unexpected particles, colour changes or unresolved powder require clarification from the supplying professional.
Concentration and records
Record the added volume, resulting concentration, preparation date and product-specific beyond-use date together. With 2 mL added, 5 mg gives 2.5 mg/mL; 10 mg gives 5 mg/mL; 15 mg gives 7.5 mg/mL. The amount printed on the vial is not automatically its concentration.
