Working with this tool
Keep the vial amount, liquid volume and target amount together. The concentration connects mass to volume; the syringe scale then converts volume to its markings.
The reference example uses 5 mg in 2 mL. A 250 mcg target occupies 0.1 mL, equal to 10 U-100 units. The calculator performs arithmetic on the amounts entered; it does not select a dose.
