Semaglutide: source schedule and units
Research reference only. Source-reported examples and schedules are not dosing recommendations from MGMT Research. They do not establish safety or suitability. Prescribed medication decisions belong with a licensed clinician and the current product label.
Reference notes
The source distinguishes a Wegovy schedule from an Ozempic schedule. The selected table retains its Wegovy figures for 5 mg in 2 mL, giving 2.5 mg/mL.
Its separate Ozempic discussion uses 0.25 mg for 4 weeks, then 0.5 mg, with optional 1 mg and 2 mg steps after at least 4 weeks each. These schedules are not interchangeable.
| Target | Weeks | Units | mL |
|---|---|---|---|
| 250 mcg | 1–4 | 10 | 0.1 |
| 500 mcg | 5–8 | 20 | 0.2 |
| 1 mg | 9–12 | 40 | 0.4 |
| 1.7 mg | 13–16 | 68 | 0.68 |
| 2.4 mg | 17 onward | 96 | 0.96 |
